Susan Neal: An Ongoing Legacy At Gilcrease

Susan Neal oversaw Gilcrease Museum for more than seven years. In that time, she successfully managed the museum through the COVID-19 pandemic, led the effort for greater community engagement in museum design and programming, and remained determined in the face of unprecedented financial impacts that more than doubled the budget for the museum's new building. Susan’s career has been focused on making Tulsa a better community, creating opportunities for all residents, and bringing diverse people together under a common goal.

In recognition of Susan’s dedication to Gilcrease and the Tulsa community, a group of grateful donors has established the Susan Neal Endowment Fund for Educational Programming and Community Engagement, ensuring resources for educational activities will always be available to all Tulsans when the museum reopens and well beyond. The fund is currently at more than $235,000 and growing.

You’re invited to honor Susan by contributing to this fund in any amount. Gifts may be made once or pledged over time. The fund will accept gifts in perpetuity making annual support an option as well.

To join these donors in cementing Susan’s legacy at Gilcrease Museum, donate below or send your check to Gilcrease Museum (mail checks to 800 S Tucker Drive, Tulsa, OK 74104). For more information or to make a pledge or annual gift, contact Leslie Bonaventura, Interim Director of Development, at (918) 596-2757 or via email: leslie-bonaventura@utulsa.edu.

There are no pre-set levels of support, so we ask you to consider a donation level meaningful to you.

When gifts are combined, great things result!
